I spent approximately 5 minutes the other day at school looking for my glasses. I am CONSTANTLY laying them down somewhere while I am shelving books and I figured I must have put them on a book shelf somewhere. With over 8,000 books in my school library, I have a lot of shelves. I walked around, muttering to myself and then I realized.
I was holding them in my hand.
Sigh.
I was holding them in my hand.
Sigh.

Join the club, Mrs. Who. I especially find myself searching frantically for my cell phone until it rings and I'm holding it!
Been there, done that!!!
Loved the cartoon....I find my reading glasses on top of my head after searching the house over. vj
I have SO been there!
I just had this conversation with my mom on Saturday! Jeff was frantically tearing the cushion/pillows/blanket off the couch looking for the remote, which was resting on the couch right next to his leg! My mom and I were discussing how she loses her glasses on her head all the time!
Oh my goodness!!! I sure do wish I could not relate to this... My daughter laughs at me all the time. My husband and I laugh at each other and my 2.5 year old grandson is now saying "silly grandmama!"
I can't help you with the whole walking around with them in your hand thing, but I will give you some advice that helped my husband: Put your glasses down only in a few designated places in your house, instead of wherever they happen to leave your hand. Make the places ones you frequent. That way, when your glasses are missing, they will be in one of only a few places instead of anywhere.
